GRAN-TECH Initiates a Community Tree-Planting Campaign
As a local recycler and a company deeply rooted in the region for years, at GRAN-TECH we believe that responsibility for the environment goes beyond daily operations—it also means taking real action for future generations. That is why we were proud to initiate a unique community tree-planting campaign, to which we invited children, partners, and representatives of the local community.
The event was attended by third-grade students from the Tadeusz Kościuszko Primary School in Sieniawa, the Forest Services Company Michał Kalin, beekeepers from Sieniawa, and the President of the “Darz Bór” Hunting Association. Thanks to this joint effort, as many as 1,500 beech saplings were planted, along with biocenotic species such as small-leaved lime and guelder rose, which will enrich the local ecosystem in the future.
Our goal was not only to support the natural environment but also to educate the youngest participants and demonstrate how important it is to care for nature where we live. As part of the event, participants also assembled bird nesting boxes together—funded by Forest from Wylewa—learning in practice how to support local wildlife.
The event concluded with a community bonfire, providing an opportunity for conversation, rest, and celebrating a job well done. Initiatives like this show that together we can make a real impact on our surroundings and build a greener future for our region.
At GRAN-TECH, we consistently combine business operations with environmental responsibility by supporting local initiatives and engaging wherever we can make a positive difference for our community.
We would like to thank all participants for their presence and shared commitment.
